How the removable mounting system works
Custom double-sided pull-to-release adhesive strips mount vertically behind the plate. For normal light-duty use, install one strip at an appropriate mounting position. For the rated maximum load of 5 lbs, use all three mounting positions: left, center and right.
Prepare
Use only on a clean, properly prepared compatible surface within the temperature limits in the supplied instructions.
Press
Apply each strip vertically and press firmly over its full length. Allow the adhesive to bond exactly as directed before loading the shelf.
Release
When removing, follow the supplied directions and pull the release tab slowly in the correct direction. Never pull the strip out at an angle.
Important surface limitations
Damage-free removal depends on correct installation, a compatible surface and proper removal. Do not mount on wallpaper, vinyl, bare drywall, improperly primed or painted surfaces, or other surfaces excluded by the instructions.
